About Us

Hi I’m Angela,

I used to work in the corporate sector where I managed multi-million dollar projects and up to 20 staff at a time.  I was a high-flying corporate executive who was very much in control of my life (or so I thought).  After having problems conceiving a child I decided to take some time off work and study for while.  I fell pregnant fairly quickly after giving up work, actually within 3 weeks.  I had always thought that my life was very much under control, how wrong I was.  I had thought that being pregnant and having a baby would be so easy, I mean women have been doing this forever, so how hard can it be?

Because I was studying to become a Naturopath I knew that I wanted to use as many natural therapies as possible during my pregnancy, birth and then once my baby was born.  As I looked around I noticed that there wasn’t one place where I could go to find everything I wanted.  After my baby was born, because I didn’t have any close family support, I felt very overwhelmed and out of control.  I thought I was the only person feeling this way, was I a bad mother?  I went to mother’s groups and everyone else seemed to be coping okay.  No one really spoke about how they were coping.  It wasn’t until after I had my second baby and finished my study that I realised that what I really wanted to do was set up a clinic that offered more than one type of natural therapy as well as providing Mother’s with support and understanding.  This was the start of The Ambaa Tree dream.

What is The Ambaa Tree

Ambaa is Sanskrit for Mother or Goddess and at The Ambaa Tree we believe that a Mother is “the heart” of the family. By providing support and understanding to the “heart” we are helping the rest of the family will thrive and grow.  The Ambaa Tree provides total health solutions in a cost effective manner.  We know that often it takes more than just one type of treatment to help you feel better. This is why we offer total solution packages which address your symptoms, lifestyle and health concerns.

The Ambaa Tree Vision

My passion is helping Mothers. I want to provide a sense of community which we have been losing over time. I envision my business becoming a “hub” of natural therapies and support services within our local area. On a more personal level, my vision is to balance my family life with my work life. Whilst I aim to have a successful clinic, my time with my children is my priority, this means that I understand many of the conflicts which are presented to mothers today. This is one of the reasons why I have built a great team around me to deliver effective treatments to our clients.  I understand that mothers focus on their children’s well-being and often forget about themselves, so my vision is to help all mother’s feel healthy, energetic and lively.

The Ambaa Tree Vision is:

- to help all mother’s feel supported and understood

- to provide a sense of community for all mother’s

- to design effective treatments programs that meet the need of the individual

- to share our knowledge and passion with each other and our clients

- to have equal relationships amongst ourselves and with our clients

- to have fun

- to provide a shoulder or a laugh, depending on what is required
